SeaGarden Kickoff and Kerteminde Seafarm visit

The SeaGarden consortium meets in Kerteminde, Denmark, on 23–24 September 2026 for the second part of the project kick-off — the first time the partners come together in person, following the online kick-off in June. Over two days the consortium combines working sessions with a visit to Kerteminde Seafarm, where mussel and seaweed cultivation are already under way. The Danish forerunner’s experience feeds directly into the design of the pilot Sea Gardens planned for Germany, Poland and Lithuania.

SeaGarden kick-off meeting — Part 1 (online)

The SeaGarden consortium met online for the first part of the official project kick-off. The six partners from Lithuania, Germany, Poland and Denmark aligned on governance, the work plan and the first activities, following the project start on 1 June 2026. The meeting was held on Microsoft Teams. The kick-off continues in person with Part 2 in Kerteminde, Denmark, 23–24 September 2026.
